The Willa Helwig History Center will be open for "Open WoodCarving" sessions every Tuesday Afternoon, 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M., and every Thursday Evening, 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
Open wood carving is a non-structured session of wood carvers, or anyone interested in wood carving, where everyone does their own type of carving. Any wood carver will help or give assistance to anyone else that may have questions on anything from woods, tools, tool sharpening, patterns, types of carving, or anything else pertaining to wood carving. (more on our wood carving sessions here) There is also a lot of friendly discussion and sharing of ideas and thoughts. Coffee is always on, and cold pop is available in the refrigerator. |
